NUHRA has some great things going on!

• Last month, we heard from Krista Watson of the EEOC and received some tips from her experience.
• This month, we'll learn about Strategic Thinking from Greg Davidson.
• Next month is our annual Half Day Conference!  On May 16th we will hold our annual Half Day Conference at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.  Members may attend for free and non-members are welcome for $50.  This is a great price, as we hope to receive HRCI credit for each speaker.  More information on speakers and topics will be available soon.

- Don't forget to register early for the SHRM National Conference in June!  The State Council plans to have another get together for attendees from Utah one night.

Half Day Conference           

Our annual half day conference will be held on May 16, 2013 at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.

Members may attend for free.  Guests may attend for $50. 

7:30 - 8:00 Registration and Continental Breakfast

8:00 - 10:00  Susan Grasseli of GBS on The Affordable Care Act.

10:00 - 11:15  Todd Anderson of the Leavitt Group will present HR Case Studies.

11:15 - 12:15  Lunch service and networking.

12:15 - 1:15  Tim Wheelwright of Kuck Immigration will present Immigration Issues.

1:15 - 2:00  Brent Orozco from Jones Waldo will provide us with a legal update.

2:00 Wrap Up and Door Prizes

3 general HRCI credits have been approved and 2 strategic credit hours are pending.
